as i sit here, no words come to mind.

usually, the 1st thing that i do when i enter the bathroom is to lock the door of the adjoining room. but this time, i dont know what happened, the locking mechanism was faulty or i was careless, my male housemate opened the door when i was inside. STARK NAKED. i screamed and slammed the door shut.

i think i havent explained properly what exactly is going on.

so i'll take another shot at it :)

samsung has loaned 16 bloggers a phone each to review. there were 2 models, the i450 (which i have) and the i550. their intention is to spread the word about the phones. in order to further facilitate this, they have several things (which IMHO are very smart indeed).

first, they created blogmob. its a website where they publish updates on whatever we bloggers post about the phones. it is also an easier way for you readers to find out who is saying what about the phone, without regularly visiting our individual blogs. but that doesnt mean that they are taking traffic away from our blogs. far from it. in fact, but grouping us up together like this, they are driving traffic to our blogs because readers or different blogs will "discover" the other blogs.

then, they have the 3 competitions.
1. best blog - whoever they think has written the best posts about the phone
2. highest site traffic for the period which we have the phone - obviously because it proves that u have spread the word satisfactorily
3. introducing the phone to the most people - in order to prove that we have introduced the phone to the most people, we have to take pictures of people with the phone.

the winner of each competition will be able to win the phone.
the rest will have to either buy it at a 50% discount or return it :(

obviously we bloggers will try our best to win the competitions, effectively doing the very thing that samsung intended: to spread the word about the i450 and i550!

everything just results in confusion.

we had a tiff, and just when i thought that the night couldnt get any worse, it did. if any of u that were there that night happen to read my blog, here is my sincere apology for what happened. it was utterly unexpected and uncalled for. and thank you so much to those who supported me. u are such sweethearts. u could have blamed everything on me, but instead u cared for me. and for that im eternally grateful.

and the ironic thing is that both sides just wanted to protect me. unfortunately one side was extremely deluded.

i think i've said enough. actually, i think i've said too much.

dont ask me what happened, i dont want to keep revisiting hell.

3 bloggers and food

about a week ago, i met up with jan and simon for dinner.

i came right from class. we had dinner nearby my college at a kopitiam named yu yiee.



jan and i ate lamb chop spaghetti while simon ate seafood spaghetti.
the lamb chop was ok, but jan and i felt that the spaghetti was too dry, but simon said that he likes dry spaghetti. oh well, to each their own ;)
i think his spaghetti looked pretty good though... maybe i'll try it next time =p

after dinner, we went to 1u and simon brought us to "pick and brew".
its a new coffee outlet located at the link to the one world hotel. if not for simon bringing us there, i might never have found it eventhough i know its at 1u. this is because the location of the place is rather hidden and secluded. maybe its because its a new area of 1u, thus very few people venture there. hopefully in time, more people will visit that area.
for an easier explanation of where it is: there's an alley to the left of "wong kok char chan teng", walk down that area and u wont miss it ;)
