i hate homeworkkkkk

theres so damn much work to do this weekend! ughhhhhhh

of all days, it has to be this monday that soo many things have to be submitted. there goes my weekend T_T

i used to hate Chinese dance, but i eventually got the hang of it and have since loved it. the lovely costumes and the richness of the culture! i love the way the contortions of the body are highlighted and the beauty of the human form emphasized upon.


i cant believe that there was a time when i was hesitant about doing this.
thank god for feng's persuasive power. lol!


i've always wanted to do this dance ever since i 1st saw glimpses of my teacher performing.
i still attach alot of wonder and beauty to this dance.
just look at the angles and the grace a single picture conveys...

i miss performing... eh, remind me again why am i studying my ass off when i can dance and train to have a to-die-for body???

oh ya, i lack talent. wtf

internet-less

been without internet since the 10th... well except for the occasional few minutes that i manage to catch on the uni computers. my friends to the left and right of me are hard at work doing tnfs (online test and feedback quizzes that we have to do the day before every lesson) and i am hard at work leeching off them.wtf

anyways, like i said, i have had been internet-less, so if you're wondering about the lack of updates or slow replies on fb, now u know.

i've been slowly settling into my new place. i love my room... its huge! :D
when we 1st moved in, the vacuum cleaner was broken and after loads of whining and complaining, the landlord (whom i dont particularly like) finally gave in and called yesterday to say that we could buy a 50pound vacuum. so out jo and i went to get a vacuum. and at the very precise price of 50pounds too! nyahaha...

we could have gotten a 13pound one at argos, but it would mean we would have to take the tube and do a fair bit of walking, so we just popped into a hardware shop in queensway and got the best vacuum we could get that was within our budget :D

i might upload pics of my room when i get internet, but thats entirely dependant on my lazyness level =p

its like my writting is all over the place. one minute talking about A then B then C then back to A again. wtf

oh wells, thats what my brain is like, so thats what you're gonna get. cant be bothered to structure everything out nicely. the brainwork i've had these past weeks is equivalent to the amount that i use in the last week of any given semester (coz thats when the exams are. wtf) in my degree!

oh ya, i dont think i've mentioned that im hoping to be able to go to LA for my dec hols. at the rate im going, thats gonna be one welcome break of non-stop fun! but i gotta sort out the visa stuff 1st. i hate visa applications! T__T

bobbing

its only my third day of classes and i already feel like im bobbing along in a stormy sea, about to be pulled under any second.

the good news is that i havent been pulled under yet.

the bad news is that i might be pulled under any day now. and that if i dont get pulled under, that fear will stay with me throughout the course until i complete it.

aish! a slacker like me a really not meant for this sort of hard work. wtf

even seemingly simple stuff like ethics class is difficult!

there are so many things to take into account. ie. professional embarrassment, conflicts of interests, cab-rank rule, double booking, contempt of court... etc etc.

im seriously considering taking up pro bono. i havent decided which part of pro bono yet, but domestic violence seems like a worthy cause and something that i could be passionate against.

thats all for now and if there is a lack of updates, it means im trying not to drown T_T

1st day of school again

so i've got 2 hours to kill before class and i havent really made any friends yet, so... im bored half to death.

oh boy oh boy...

ah yes, and im really beginning to wonder y i chose to do my bar in COL (college of law) when the textbooks we use are from City Law School. (??!!!)

but i made my bed, so im gonna have to sleep in it. (or is this the wrong pepatah?? wtf)

ok... 50 more minutes.

they had sandwiches in a tent just now. they kinda sucked so i only had 2. im hungry again now :(

amazing how chatting online can make time pass faster...
