i typed out a long post last night, but there's something wrong with my mozilla, so i couldnt post it up, nor could i save it. so its gone T.T

i have a cut on my right forefinger. i have no idea how it got cut. i was exiting tesco when i noticed that there was a blob of red on my finger and tried to rub it off, only to discover the cut under the blood. it hurts *bimbotic pout*

gotta work tomorrow again. oh, im suddenly reminded of the raja bisul (or someother word beginning with "b". wtf )! the one where he tasted blood, then he wanted blood in all his dishes. im gonna created alot of carnivores tomorrow! wanna eat a subway prepared by me? *wink*

i was craving for cookies today. so when my manager asked me to bake the cookies, i was so happy! after doing the cookies properly, i collected the crumbs and piled them all to make one cookie which was meant for me. but after they were baked and i was on break, my manager's wife stole my cookie (she didnt know it was for me)! *sobs*

umbilical cord

i have a question. one that bugs me because i cant figure it out.

this question pops into my mind occasionally, brought to mind by certain incidents, movies or stories, and it pesters me right up until the time which i forget about it, but soon i am reminded of it again.

i may seem very ignorant in asking this, but what happens to the umbilical cord once a baby is born and the cord has been severed?

i mean its still hanging out from the mothers orifice right??

what happens to it???

does it shrivel and drop off immediately or what?

does it somehow retreat into the mothers body?

and i've heard of an incident where the pregnant lady accidentally shitted out (for the lack of more accurate words) the fetus into the toilet bowl when she was using the toilet. how is that possible when there is the existence of the umbilical cord?

wont the baby be hanging out of the body then?

err... can somebody give me a biology lesson?

shower

as i was in the shower just now, i was suddenly reminded of the 1st house i stayed in at damansara.

there was no heater for the bathrooms on the 2nd floor, so if we wanted to shower with hot water, we had to go downstairs and shower in the downstairs toilet.

i didnt like showering in the downstairs toilet because it was a squatting type toilet and showering next to the squatting hole with nary a partition didnt appeal to me very much (if at all!).

so i used to shower without any heated water upstairs. and boy was it refreshing!

especially when i showered in the wee hours of the morning (12-1am) before i went to bed =p

the first few moments of the shower were always excruciating though. LOL!
but once i've adjusted to the temperature, its really nice :)

the best part though, is how cool and clean i felt after each bath. just perfect for the sweltering malaysian heat! bliss~~

but here, the very thought of showering without any heated water is enough to send shivers down my spine! and i mean that literally =p

warmth

the days are noticeably longer... at 5pm its still bright.

its warmer now, no more shivery gusts of wind.

spring is coming...

and my dearest earmuffs that i have come to love, i shall have to bid adieu to you soon.

because i am greedy

today was just one of those days where everything seems to go wrong.
