i had my human rights debate juz now! i tink my speech was ok... it was abit on the short side but i dun tink the lecturer noticed. hehe~

but question time! can die i tell u! she asked me the the most questions and drilled me for the longest time. 10 mins ok! other ppl only 5 mins liddat. she asked me besides torture, wad shud be used to extract info from those suspected of terrorism. then b4 i cud ans, she asked me to tell her the characteristics n nature of al qaeda.

wad the toot! how i noe??? do i look like a terrorist to u?! (shaddap!) so i juz crapped out sth about them being educated in ways of terrorism since young n concentration camps n extremists... wadever crap i cud tink of la! then she sed sth like "seeing dat they are such extremists, wad other methods can we use besides torture?"

at dat moment i blanked out. im not in the police force! i noe nuts about interrogation ok! i only noe the "good cop, bad cop" technique dat so obviously cant be used for terrorists. so i crapped sth about re-educating them, showing them wad morality n love is... crap like dat la. i meant for it to come out as reverse psychology. (too much exposure to gabe =p)

then she sed sumthing which i cant rmbr n i replied n she sed sth again. then i was wondering how long had dis gone on n she obviously does not wan to agree wif me. so in the end i agreed wif her dat torture is justified, BUT only in certain situations. then she sed dat if i sed dat, wad i sed previously was all redundant. -_-"

then i tried to salvage the situation by saying dat we shud try the re-education method 1st n only use torture as a last resort. then she asked how long shud we wait b4 using torture? dis woman is such a sadist i tell u! i sed "a few mths" i mean u knot expect re-education to happen overnite rite? n its unethical to immediately torture ppl juz coz u SUSPECT them of being terrorists.

then she juz nodded n moved onto the nxt speaker. *phew!*

(owh ya, today we din have any audience at all, n ms savita din say anything about the lack of audience)
