happy bdae bernie!

i originally wanted to post up some pics yesterday, but i became unexpectedly busy, so i thought i'd post them today. but the events of yesterday were just too remarkable, that i had to blog about it today. so the pics will have to wait =p

yesterday, i received a rude shock. i guess what happened was in a way quite predictable, but i just didnt expect it to occur SOO SOON. so i felt rather down and upset. thank goodness, things took a turn for the better in the evening :D

when i got home from dancing class (which i half-heartedly attended), i switched on my laptop. my msn automatically connected as it always does, and i searched for a person to talk to. i wanted to distract myself from the events of the day. so i started chatting to a fren. then i said i was bored. i wasnt expecting much, maybe he would crack a joke or something. but he offered to bring karen n i for a drink since he was free that nite. so obviously i accepted! i always prefer to do anything BUT mope at home thankyouverymuch.

after msn-ing with him, i received a call. it was shaz
. i met him thru karen last friday at laundry bar. along our conversations, he mentioned that he gave away free tickets. being the thick-faced person that i ashamedly sometimes am, i wanted free tickets.

being the famous guy he is, i barely expected him to remember me, but he did! and the phone call was about the tickets. omg, so sweet of him! i mean how many people would go thru all that effort for a stranger. actually now i feel quite paiseh about my thick-facedness -_-"

but anyways, the tickets are for a movie premier TONIGHT! before that, we'll all have dinner at midvalley. omg, so cool! *excited & sakai*

by the time i put down the phone, i was in a completely different mood than that afternoon!

the yum cha session that night was great. halfway thru, i received a msg from iwan. i'd previously msged him, wondering where he'd disappeared. a couple of msges were exchanged and we arranged to meet. by that time it was already 1am! lol!

so we met at about 2am and chatted till nearly 4am if im not mistaken. im glad to have finally met iwan. i first got to know about him when he started commenting on my blog last year. then we'd comment back and forth on each others blogs. eventually he became a loyal reader. omg, i actually have a loyal reader that didnt personally know me 1st! *hyperventilates*

iwan, thanks so much for liking my blog soo much, eventho i may find myself rather bimbotic and boring at times. it was great meeting u. (its the 1st time i met a reader!):D

so my night ended in a happy note.

if only everytime im upset, so many good things would happen to me. HAHAHA~ dream on amy!
i agree with a fren of mine who says that my life is quite full of drama. LOL~

but when things happen the way they did last night, its easy to see how i can remain such an optimist =p

sometimes i dislike (i was gonna write hate, but i've never really loathed my life =p) my life, but at times like this, i really LOVE my life :D

btw, speaking of loyal readers...
