recent events

whoa, i've been pretty busy lately, hence the lack of updates. hehe~

as the title states, here are some of the recent events:



LAW SOCIETY AGM

basically, if u study law in kdu, u belong in the law society. so all of us law students were trouped into the hall one fine morning.

it took awhile for things to get started, so the ever efficient law students did not waste any time... camwhoring i mean =p

she's a fantastic teacher. too bad she's not teaching anymore, she's been promoted to admin work :(

after all the boring speeches and etc, the committee organized some games for us. the first was to create as disgusting as possible a salad, with the following ingredients:
bread
a bunch of bananas
papaya
various sauces (eg. tomato and chili)

then we teams were to pick a piece of paper with the name of a opposing team on it. the teams then switched salads. the group which managed to finish the most of their salad wins. our group got lucky and managed to get the least disgusting salad. so we won that game :D

next, we had a newspaper fashion show which was rather disastrous for my team.

finally, we were allowed to help ourselves to the snacks that they provided for us. and that was the end of that event.

DANCE PASSION CARWASH

as i mentioned in a previous post, dance passion had a carwash last friday to raise funds for our club.

we were originally split into 3 teams.
one was the washing team and another was the wiping team. the final team wasnt really a team, it only consisted of flo, she handled the paperwork, car keys and tickets while the rest of us got down and dirty =p

this is wong's ride, it was originally filthy, but they cleaned it while i was in class (phew! i didnt have to help with that!)

so when i came back, it became our favourite camwhoring prop =p

somebody said i look nice in shorts, so "hah!" to all those people who look down on my shorts-wearing tendencies!

but err... i think i MUST MUST MUST stop buying shorts.
this year alone, i've already bought 3 pairs of shorts!

eh, it doesnt sound like that many ler... maybe i can buy one more pair.......hmm...

anyways, to anyone whose interested, cat whiskers has further slashed their prices! (boy are they eager to clear stock!) everything in the shop is 50% off, except for shoes n skirts. those are 70% off!!!

unfortunately i managed to control myself and i didnt buy anything because i was just there less than a week ago and already bought some stuff from there and there wasnt any new stock.

i was eyeing a striped purple halter dress (only $30!!!), but i didnt buy it coz caroline sed it wasnt nice... but now im having 2nd thoughts... oh wells, if its still there when i go to subang for my ielts this saturday, i'll buy it! and hopefully they will further slash the prices!!! *hopeful*
