the krispy kreme adventures

actually not much of an adventure la, i just came across krispy kreme serendipitously =p

like i mentioned before, i was looking for krispy kreme in london. and i was very sorely disappointed not to be able to sample it that day.

however, several days later, i stepped into tesco metro in oxford, cowley lane, and this sight met my eyes...

*cue for the hallelujah song*

although i was outwardly behaving normally (except perhaps for extremely wide eyes and slower than normal movements...), i was doing cartwheels inside.

i just came to tesco metro to do my normal grocery shopping, absolutely not expecting to find krispy kreme. coz although stella told me that some tesco's have it, i expected the bigger tesco in oxford to have it, but it didnt. instead, this lil tesco had it!

i thought of buying this one but instead i bought a maple flavoured one.
i shall try this one day.

quite expensive these doughnuts... about $1.25 for original if im not mistaken. the flavoured ones are more expensive.

wad to do... i quite enjoy unpacking in a new place (so terrible la me, other ppl homesick while im having the time of my life. wtf).

i bought one original and one maple. i like the original better. but omg, krispy kreme is damn sweet wei! can get diabetes. it was so sweet my teeth teeth hurt abit. wtf

but it was damn nice la. would be better if i had big apple here so i could compare them more fairly though(i prefer big apple to jco any day). but price wise, big apple wins hands down!!!

oh ya, these doughnuts might be atomic, but i have got to introduce these amazing nuclear cookies to u! they're called millie's cookies. but i call them my "happy cookies" coz i eat them whenever i feel upset and they make me happy again! (maybe its the sugar rush coz they're really sweet too. wtf)
