i'd been ice skating a couple of times in sunway pyramid before, so i would consider myself ok on ice. ok as in i rarely fall. haha...
the last time i was on ice, i tried to learn putting one foot directly in front of the other (forming a straight line), which is actually wayyy harder than in sounds. i fell and hit my head, ending that ice skating session for me. lol.
this time, i tried skating on one foot for as long as i could.
and i ended up learning this:
ok, without the pizazz, and my leg a little lower with my body slightly inclined forward, but basically doing an 'attitude' (ballet term. go google =p).
whee!!! im so proud of myself! :D
i can do this too, but im still not too good at it. not enough confidence and balance :(
the bent leg one is easier. hehe
