(i like the tulle(?) halter part of the dress)
Pretty, pretty little dress, how we wonder what you are. Up above in the closet so high, you sparkle like a diamond in the sky! We couldn't help but compare this divine halter dress to the beauty of the midnight sky, with its deep cobalt hue, glittering overlay, and adorable bow embellishment. Fully lined and featuring an elasticized back for a flattering fit, you'll rest easy at night knowing how awesome you'll look when you wear this stunning creation to your next party! Pair with silver peep-toes, glimmering chandelier earrings, and a soft pashmina shawl, and everyone will be sure to know who you are!
(i have always been attracted to dresses with this sort of cut. and have i mentioned my weakness for halter dresses??? this dress looks very fun and flirty :) )
Whenever it seems that things are getting rough all over no matter what side of the tracks you're on, just slip into the soft comfort of this 100% cotton halter dress. A vintage-inspired cut, sweetheart bustline, elasticized back, and a shaping tie around the waist will make you look prettier than an Oklahoma sunset. The pink, red, and black print of cherry sprigs are quite a toothsome treat, leaving no chance that you'll become a fashion 'outsider'. Stay gold by wearing this jaunty, white dress to all of your social events with black patent peep toes and a handkerchief headband.
(i absolutely love how striking the black and white is. a short dress to show-off those legs!)
You know exactly what's expected of you at any formal affair. That's why you always make a point to go above and beyond. Nothing like surprising people with a dose of impeccable fashion, is there? While everyone else at the party looks the same in one LBD after another, you stand out in this luminescent black and white concoction. Poised at the center of it all, this dress, with its satiny, black, bow-adorned strapless bodice, its floaty, white, pleat-topped empire waist skirt, and its unique black lace trim at high waist and tulle-augmented hem, has made you the most sought-after girl of the evening. At the end of the night, when you slip your brocaded jacket over the petrol silver of this frock's exposed black zipper, you know that, thanks to this dress, you stood out like a starlet!
(definitely a striking dress! you can be pretty darned sure no one else will be wearing the same dress! the shape looks flattering, and love love love the back!!!)
"Mmm," you express as the coolness of fresh watermelon juice is poured. The bartender adds a dash of cordial, a dash of tonic, and gives the cocktail shaker a mighty jostle. "This," he says as he fills a hurricane glass with the carbonated mix, "was inspired by that bubbly dress you have on!" Yes, you're in one fun frock, with the skirt lined with a flouncy petticoat, the padded and pleated bodice adorned with a darling bow, the flirty back replete with interlocking straps, and the skirt decorated with a sweet red and green polka dot pattern. Taking a sip of your drink, you give the bartender a thumb's up. You can wear this adorable strapless dress with ruby colored pumps for a happy hour outing that will get you noticed!
(i'm biased. i love white dresses.)
As refined and exquisite as the French delicacy that shares its name, this dreamy Betsey Johnson frock will make anyone weak at the knees! Carefully layered with airy tiers of tulle over its satin skirt, and expertly pleated at the boned bodice, this side-zippered, sumptuous wonder can be worn with or without its detachable straps to cultivate a look so splendid that onlookers' eyes will glaze over in awe. Given a touch of the unexpected with its teal waistband and glamorous back-of-the-waist bow, this dress will satisfy your every desire. Ice this dress with rhinestone jewelry, velvet heels, and a faux-fur stole for an outfit that will be 'la crème de la crème' no matter where you are!
(very smart looking, perfect for work and dinings!)
How do I love thee, dress? Let me count the ways. I love your impeccable design, for you are bursting with subtle ingenuity. I love how your bodice's fun, dimensional flourishes contrast with your skirt's ultra crisp box pleats. I love the way your blue and white pinstripes add a professional edge to your accordion ruffles. O, your ruffles! How I love your fun, feminine ruffles! I love that you will stay with me from my workday until my 'par-tay.' I cannot wait to wear you everywhere and in every way - to work on the weekdays, out to lunch on the weekend, beneath a blazer in winter, with bare arms in the warmer weather. I love you utterly. I love you irrevocably. I will wear you nearly and dearly for a long, long time.
(so so classy!!! i'd feel like i stepped out of the set of a classic film :D)
You're sitting at a marble table whose edges are carved into decadent swirls, looking glamorous in this ultra flattering dress. A waiter in formal garb approaches you. "Que vouliez-vous, madamoiselle?" he asks. 'What would you like?' "Une tasse de chocolate chaude et une bombe au chocolat," you respond in your perfect French. With your order made, you serenely peruse the pages of Le Monde as you wait, smiling to yourself when you catch a nearby Parisian complimenting your cocoa brown and beige frock. "Look at her dress," the woman is saying. "How elegant it is with its demure length and its notched collar. I love the ruffles at bottom, and the tied waist. Impeccable!" You thank the waiter as he brings you a steaming cup of rich hot chocolate along with the domed pastry you ordered, and you lounge back in your chair, comfortable in this frock's cotton-lined linen, and simply delighted with your day!
(i like the simplicity of the dress)
Your true love lives in Lancaster, and after the torture of being away for part of the summer, you're finally getting the opportunity to visit each other! What should you wear? Stay with the spirit of the country's rural surroundings in this cool, muted blue dress! Both the bodice's front and back boast pretty white embroidery, while a sash ties at the waist for a flattering look. When you step out of your carriage to meet your beloved, you'll look so enchanting, it will be easy to forget you were ever apart!
(a classic dress that flatters the figure and will always look great on... especially if you plan to be dancing in it;) )
You'll never forget the evening you sipped champagne on the balcony of that posh mansion, the only light around cast by the full moon above. You were wearing this onyx dress, with its sweetheart neckline, flattering layered bust, cap sleeves, and super feminine silhouette. You heard your named called, and as you twirled around to see who it was, the full A-line skirt spun and fluttered. It was the party's host, dressed to the nines, though not looking nearly as wonderful as you. The host simply wanted to compliment you on your glamorous look, from the eye-catching fascinator you expertly paired to the frock, to the vintage ivory gloves, and of course, the spectacular dress. Every time you wear this dress in the future, you'll recall that fantastic evening. By Stop Staring!
(the perfect everyday dress. you could wear it to work, classes, dinner, afternoon tea, drinks after work...)
This 1950s inspired dress is perfect for an after-school date at the ice cream parlor! Wearing this deep purple, your beau will spot you right away. And, as you share an ice cream float, he'll admire the fabric-covered buttons and the dainty cap sleeves. The fitted bodice is the perfect accompaniment to the slightly flared skirt and cinched waist with a matching sash. As you lean in for a sip, the subtle stretch of the dress will keep you comfortable. Wear this piece with a cropped cardigan and ballet flats for thirst-quenching style!
