blood

there was a blood drive in college today, so on impulse, i participated in it and convinced some of my frens to come along too.

the nurses were relli unprofessional though! let me relate the nitemare events.

the nurse who poked the needle into me did it really painfully and although im know nuts about medicine, i knew something was wrong coz she was twisting the needle around while it was in my arm. i can assure u dat the feeling was nowhere near comfortable! so i told her to take the needle out. she was surprised, but i was rather insistent, so she did it. damn painful i tell u!!!
then she came back about half an hour later and stuck the needle into my other arm instead. luckily, dis time, was much better.

besides dat, the nurses couldnt find jeannie's vein! the poor girl was poked and prodded so many times with the needle! and when the nurse took the needle out of jeannie's arm, she did it so roughly, i couldnt even bear to look!

but the worst was jia xin. she fainted! then the stupid inexperienced nurse panicked and yanked the needle out of jia xin's arm. as a result, blood spurted everywhere! (this whole time i was unaware coz of my own problems wif the needle, i only found out ltr) then all the nurses rushed to help and jia xin eventually woke up. funny thing is, after she woke up, she was right as rain. -_-"

serene was the luckiest, her's went smoothly. ironically, it was us second-timers dat suffered. haha~

oh ya, i tend to feel high and hyper after donating blood. lol~
the downside however is dat which ever arm dat was poked wud feel extremely cold n weak after dat. and in this case, both arms were poked. so i was like hyper orang cacat for a few hours. -_-"

its hurts me! :(

anyway, here's an observation i made:

btw, dis is one of the freebies i got for donating blood.
all i ate for dinner was the freebies they gave and also a secret recipe cake. :D
so dis can be called, selling my blood to get a meal. so sad hor? lol~

the odd thing about the pic is... the price tag! the cake is free!
imam's give free cakes away! haha~ (ok, in case nobody noticed, dat was supposed to be a joke =p)
