clothes n fireflies

there was a "student lock-in sale" in topshop yesterday, everything in the store was on 20% discount & the prices for some items were majorly slashed!

unfortunately for my frens n i, the lock-in started at 2, but we had classes till 6, so we didnt get to be one of the lucky early birds to get goody bags. :(

but still, it was a good thing that i went although my mum wont agree coz im spending $$$, coz i managed to buy FOUR tops for under $80!!!

and presenting the clothes:

2 tanks
the purple is size 6, the white is size 10 coz we went late n most of the clothes had already sold out their smaller sizes, but i figured dat the white tank wud look relli great over a swimsuit for special occasions :D


tube top
it looks purple here, but its really a rich ruby red.
this was the best bargain of the lot! remember the pink tube dat i wore for my bdae? i bought dat for $39 from topshop about 2 weeks ago, and now, i got dis top for $19 plus the 20% discount, it makes it $15.20!!!
so although at size 10 its rather too big, i still tink its worth it coz i can wear it with my new belt! :D


ruched tshirt
at $28.80, it wasnt that cheap, but for a topshop shirt, its still pretty darn cheap! besides, after trying it on, i just HAD to get it. =p

overall, i feel VERY satisfied with my purchases! :D
for the price that most people would spend on for ONE item from topshop, i managed to get FOUR. muahaha!!!

as for today, i went to see fireflies!

actually i meant to go down to subang just to visit and hang out with jo, but it turned out dat her church frens had organized a trip down to a firefly park at Kuala Selangor. so i tagged along. :D

n boy was it great! we sat in sampans n the guide would row us really close to the trees so that we could actually touch and play with the fireflies. the sight of the fireflies lighting up the trees against the inky backdrop of the night was relli beautiful! and it was so dark, dat even the stars seemed to shine brighter than usual. all in all, it was surreal. and all of us even spoke in hushed voices, adding to the dreamy-ness of the experience :D

i also made alot of new frens tonite. but that, i would attribute to my shamelessness in going up to her church frens n just introducing myself. LOL~ (in retrospect, so thick faced ar me!!! *paiseh*)

i guess dats all for now, i mite be going to melaka tml. ;)
