laptop deprivation

i sent my laptop to the computer services yesterday because i could not install my webcam. the charge for installing lost drivers is 10 pounds. which equates to 63 ringgit.

wtf, i can reformat my whole laptop fpr that price! computer related stuff is damn kao expensive here. so all u computer whizzes out there should count yourselves lucky!

my webcam had better be able to work after they're done with it! if not my 10 pounds will go down the drain and i still wont be able to use my (brand new!) webcam! plus i dunno how much more i will have to pay for wadever other services that will be required to install my webcam :'(

the guy at computer services sed that their engineer is out, and the soonest i can get my laptop back is on monday. gawd... what in the world am i supposed to do till then???
(thats partly why im here at 6.30pm ranting in the computer lab.)

the brilliant computer lab of which i cannot find anywhere, the sign stating its opening hours!!! goodness, i'd expect something as basic as that to be located in full view of students!

i guess its fate, i just have to study then. got nothing else to do -_-"

in order to make time pass faster, i forced myself to go back to bed when i woke up several times this morning. then in the end i couldnt tahan and woke up at 3.30pm. then i had krispy creme (krispy creme Chronicles to be told at a later date) doughnuts for lunch and some left over meat balls.

then i worked on my CV and came here to print it out. now, im going over to wei yee's place for lunch. and there u have it, my whole day. exciting isnt it? -_-
