im on the dolphin15 plan with orange (service provider). for this plan, i pay $15 a month and i get unlimited free text msges and 200 minutes free talk time. but only to numbers within the uk.
i made a few short calls to malaysia and sent a few texts. now my bill is a whopping $41.78!!!
oh yes, did i mention that its all in pounds?
if we consider the current exchange rate (that would be about times 6) : RM250.68
but my parents bought the pounds that im currently using at the previous exchange rate (times 6.4), so it would be : RM267.40

there's a kind of card u can get to call M"sia using the mins u got for your plan,it charge extra 1p for 1 min together with the mins available u have.

have u tried those international calling cards?
they charge like crazy! unless i have a landline... but i dont :(
and the uni pay phones dont accept calling cards.

well...there's another way u can do it,it's 5p per min..using the talkmobile network,u can get it from any CarphoneWarehouse in uk,ask 'em for talkmobile package and they will explain it you.
