because everyone else is doing it

it seems like everyone is recapping their year. reading their blogs, i tried to remember what happened to me this year and what did i do. strange that everything after college is a blur. more specifically, after april 2007.

so i shall go through my blog starting from january and try to remember wth i've been up to.

jan: i went to traffic jam, joined the prudential services challenge, decided to become a nuffnang glitterati, and met up with lodgians that are now scattered around the globe.

feb: i did a magazine tag, i decided to take up taekwondo (but in the end, i only attended about 3 classes. wtf), discovered 'cats whiskers', met up with taylorians, did a 'i sleep better with chipster' entry, went cny visiting with my family, went CNY visiting with lodgians, cracked lame jokes with bernie, john n chun yik, i received a rose for valentines day (which i still suspect my friends sent), found a super nice song that suited my mood at the time, and did a before/after tag.

march: dance passion held a carwash, had chap goh mei dinner with my grandma n uncle (at that time i was also very into nail art), i met iwan, had shisha for the 1st time (and was served by a hansome stranger. bie!), went to my 1st movie preview and met a ton of ppl, iwan dedicated a song to me (iwan, WHERE ARE U?? have u deserted me? T.T), and i went to the nuffnang pyjama party and met loads of bloggers.

april: this was the fei month. i went to the digi media launch, joined blogmob and got to play with the samsung i450, experienced murphy's law, experienced definitely gang, maybe bang and made awesome friends.

may: i went out with shaun for the 1st time, went to a rave, asked random ppl to take a pic with the i450, participated in a freeze, unearthed my mum's vintage dresses, confessed about my love-life, wrote an immensely mushy 1st month anniversary post for shaun.

june: i was back in kuching for abit and ate alot, went to the 'maid of honour' dinner, my ceiling fell, rebonded my hair after vehemently stating in secondary school that i would never straighten my hair, attended my 1st press launch (and was late. wtf).

july: attended the law ball, had a blast at the dgmb bbq, and partied the night away at hennessy artistry.

august: i attempted to make a lime meringue and reminisced about svetlana khorkina and stressed out about my visa applications.

september: received my visa, met up with lodgians in kuching, left to UK, arrived in a foreign city, moved into my current room, started enjoying life in the uk, and turned 20.

october: i made my 1st visit to london, had my 1st krispy kreme, discovered how to make the best omelette in the world, found cookies that make me happy, had a malaysian potluck, experimented making meatballs, had my 1st glimpse of snow, and celebrated my 1st proper halloween.

november: had my cereal stolen, lmao at a facebook group, estimated the quantum of damages for my assignment, visited notting hill, discovered failblog, and my bf attempted to trick me.

dec: discovered an interesting shop that i have yet to find the time and effort to return to, rediscovered jimmy lin, tried out jamie's italian and wagamama, organized 2 secret santa's, had the most sleep ever, went to paris, and splurged like crazy for boxing day sales.


wow, i did quite alot afterall.
i guess this blog has indeed achieved its purpose as a pensieve of sorts for me :)
