sacrilege

one if the few places i liked in rome, was the Vatican City.

it's the holiest christian place in the world. accordingly, i guess that would make St Peter's Basilica the holiest church in the world.

so as usual for churches, they had a basin filled with holy water near the entrance of the church, for christians to dip their fingers into and make the sign of the cross.

but when i neared one of these basins, there were chinese tourists there, PLAYING with the water, WASHING their hands and flicking the water at each other.

man, this is HOLY WATER we're talking about wei!

but i guess they were probably buddhists and didnt know any better la. lucky for them, i was the one that saw them and not another person. or else they sure kena already.

although im not a christian, but i still felt quite horrified at their behaviour.
*sigh* tourists!
