im a judge!

i spent my morning in class, my afternoon lazing on my bed, my evening at atria and my night at the mamak. so much for sentencing myself to the library. -_-"

therefore i resolve to go to the library tomorrow morning to do my assignment! hopefully i actually succeed in reaching the library this time. -_-"

lemme elaborate a bit more on my assignment. because if it were not quite so tedious and time consuming (i cud be studying or sleeping, or eating, or blog surfing, or doing any other meaningless thing instead), it would be quite interesting.

previously, the class was divided into groups of 8 and each group was given a question. the groups would then split in half and debate the questions. -dis part of the assignment is over.

now, each individual has to pick a question (we can pick any question except the one that our group debated) and based on the legal arguments debated by the group that did the question, write out a legal judgment.

in other words, we're now the judges.

so we have to pick a side and give reasons based on precedents and our own opinions on why we have arrived at a particular decision. pretty neat huh?

damn, now if only i had passion for law. LOL~
