virus

i cant believe i fell for a virus yesterday.

usually when my friends randomly send me a link, i'll become suspicious and ask them about it 1st b4 i click on it.

but yesterday, i was too tired/blur that i just clicked right onto the link. so stupid!
ugh!

and suddenly my msn contacts started popping up and closing automatically. thats when i knew it was a virus. i immediately called my friend whose link i clicked and she confirmed that it was a virus and advised me to immediately manually off my laptop. and so i did.

then i restarted my laptop and everything seemed fine, except that all my addresses in mozilla were wiped out and so were all the passwords that i'd saved on various sites. very irritating i tell u.

then after being on msn for an hour or so, the virus (or whatever it was) started acting up again and sending stuff to my contacts. so i ended the msn program. and everything was fine again.

now i dont dare to be on msn for long stretches of time. this also means that i wont be able to leave my msn on while i leave the room anymore. ugh!

so to all u other who havent been struck yet, or have already been hit, this is a reminder to stay alert!
