open air food

i <3 kuching food!

one monday night, all of us headed out to the open air market for some chow.

kolo mee!
if u look extremely closely, u will notice that there are 3 types of noodles behind the glass.
from the left is the normal kolo mee noodles, then the curly noodles ad finally the flat kind.

i likey the curly kind :D

the open air market is kinda famous for its big buns

here's so u get a rough idea of how the place looks like at night.
some stall are open while the others are closed. the ones that are open enjoy thriving business.
its a little early, so there arent many ppl yet. its more of a supper spot than of one for dinner.

my favouritest gu bak mee (beef noodles) stall ever!

edine bought her kolo mee in the previous stall, but usually ppl buy theirs from this stall.
and its cheaper too!

another thing i love about kuching food is the price!

all the pictures above were from one part of the open air market. but we didnt eat there, we walked aross the road to the other part coz bernie wanted to introduce me to the porridge there.

after the porridge, i craved for gu bak mee, so we moved back to the previous part of the open air market.
