mistique

last nite, alif suddenly msged me "mistique...tonight" (or sth like dat) so having been at home for the whole day, i was feeling alot of pent up energy and agreed to go.

i dragged resh along. hehe~

i didnt bring my cam coz i din wanna lose it (imagine a camwhore without a cam! can die ok! =p) so we took a few shots b4 we left.




jj picked us up at around 11.30pm. we picked up another 2 girls on the way. both respectively from the uol n utas law programmes in kdu. then at the club, we met up with alif n joyce. *wink wink*



the beginning of the nite (what beginning of the nite??? it was 12am already!) was quite boring as no one in the club was dancing. everyone seemed content drinking. but then again, this crowd was older than the the crowd of youngsters and teenagers that i was used to. it consisted mostly of the working class people, so i guess by that age most of them have run out of steam and are satisfied to just drink n look dignified. *shrugs* (i sound so insulting to working ppl! muahaha~ but seriously, no offense intended!)



the pace kinda picked up by 1am and a few ppl were beginning to dance, so our group began dancing too. but unfortunately, the music took a plunge around that time and kinda sucked. btw, did i mention dat my fren happened to be a vvip at mistique and we had a table on the stage? rite nxt to where the dj's were spinning! really cool! (forgive my sakai-ness =p)




resh was hot stuff dat nite, she got hit on by a number of guys! hehe~ i shall not elaborate here as i value my life, but boy does she have magnetism! ;)

at nearly 2.30, jovan came with his frens. too bad i din bring my cam or i cud show u his hot-ness. =p but no worries, i'll get u girls a picture...umm... one day la. =p
i tink the guys kinda resented his appearance, coz once he showed up, he kinda whisked the girls away. lol~
not intentionally ofcoz, but leng zhai mar... so ofcoz the girls will be attracted la! =p

if it was my fren's intention to impress dat nite (no, we're no longer talking about jovan here), he certainly did a good job of it! he was very well connected in the club. he introduced me to the resident dj, bouncers, a bodyguard and even the manager! whoa... i dint know he was THAT connected. haha~
i was VERY impressed. but i blame dat on my sakai-ness.

after the lights came on and ppl were leaving, we were allowed to chill there at the sofas till 4++ which was a first for me. after dat, the whole gang of us adjourned to choy kee for sustenance. lol~

*EDIT* how cud i have forgotten to mention this! mystique has a unisex toilet! for the 1st time in my life, i was queuing up nxt to guys to wait for a toilet cubicle! unfortunately, knowing the way guys pee all over the place -especially when drunk, the toilet was disgustingly flooded with suspicious looking fluids on the floor :(

ok, the fun part of my tale ends here. for i am feeling extremely guilty about wasting my whole weekend away when i havent even started studying for my exams which is on the 1st week of dec. *feels guilty and doomed* so i shall force myself to go to the lib tml afternoon!
