i got conditional offers for City University London and College of Law to do my BVC (bar vocational course)!
aside from feeling ecstatic, and bouncing off the walls because i got accepted into not only one, but TWO law schools... im now in a conundrum :S
which one should i go to??
these were my top two choices. and i got both! i initially thought i wouldnt be accepted to any at all :S
damn happy wei. hehe~
anyway, back to my conundrum.
on one hand, City has the most amazing alumni ever (according to wikipedia), including tony blair, mahatma gandhi, and margaret thatcher !
on the other hand, college is supposedly very hard to get into as all of my friend's friends got rejected, even the "pahhhwerr" ones. so i suppose getting an offer is an achievement in itself and there is the exclusivity factor too.
but still... look at City's alumni... and City is about 200 pounds cheaper overall. plus alot of my friends are going to City, but no one i know got College as well.
so right now im leaning towards City. but if anyone has any arguments for and against any of the Uni's, please do let me know!

Good that you are living up to my expectations with the recent label I put for your blog link.
If I were you though, I'd go the more Exclusive one. The one that less people go to. You could be pleasantly surprised.
I'd go to the ones the Power ones won't go, but if I were you, I'd go read up on both institutions and see what they offer.
You should go for the institution that is moving forwards and not the one that values its history more than practical and innovative teaching which would gear you to be a valuable member of the Bar.

after more readings, i think im leaning towards college instead. it has better statistics and possibly a better reputation too. now im just waiting for the green light from my parents before i accept the offer.
