locked out

embarrassing incident of the day:

i went the the student union building after class today in hopes of finding some ham or corned beef in the student union shop for my intended lunch of fried rice. but there was none. so instead of exiting the direction i entered, i decided to take another exit via harts bar. so i walked through harts bar and out the double doors. then i noticed that the door didnt close behind me, so i went and shut it properly. then i walked towards the gate that led out of the student union. it was locked. damn. so i turned around to exit the way i entered. it was locked too. i was the one who had so nicely shut the door and locked myself out -____-

then the guys in the construction area beyond the gate noticed that i was locked out, so one guy offered to go around and let me out the way i had gotten in. then as he was walking off, a guy with the keys came through the locked door and was shocked to see me there. i immediately turned and shouted for the construction guy not to bother coz the door was already opened and i thanked him. then i turned back to the bewildered guy who was asking how in the world did i manage to get into there. keeping my head down and feet swift, i got the hell outta there, mumbling that he did not want to know.
