i hate customers who order something then get confused and refuse to pay for it. i dont hate it because they refuse to pay, i hate it because it makes me feel inept, inefficient, helpless.
finally after months of saying that i am gonna ask my manager for a raise, i worked up the guts to ask for it a few days ago. my manager told me that he too had been thinking about it and my co-workers had also talked to him about the same thing. he had talked to the higher-ups about this and he said that this was ultimately their decision and all we could do is wait.
so i am waiting.
this month i only received slightly over 230pounds in wages. i was pretty upset because it was so little compared to previous months where i usually get about 400pounds, so i came home and checked my work-hour slips. and indeed i had only worked about 48 hours this month :(
cross-checking with the calender, i found out that this was due to several days i took off to practice for the CNY performance and also CNY itself. oh wells... i'll have to be stricter with my purse strings this month.
i just discovered that my co-worker is 27. i always thought he was about 24. hmm... i guess im really bad at estimating people's ages!

I used to have this perception Subway was paying me short back then. but i trusted their system tho. :D
